 Hey Jim & Cindy,
I purchased one of your pups back in April of last year out of your Harley x Stella breeding.
He just turned a year old and thought I’d give you guys an update.
Finn is doing really well in obedience and bite work. We’re planning on starting out in Mondioring since I started working for Michael Ellis at his school and that’s what they do around here.
He still has a lot of maturing to do in the head, but he’s coming along nicely. Very social, stable and motivated dog.
Like I read in Harley’s bio, Finn is also a nut for his ball.
At this point he seems a bit more into the ball than the decoy/helper which is nice right now in our training because he still bites well.
I’ve done a little bit of foundational tracking stuff with him, which he seems like he could do well, I just haven’t putt in the time doing too much yet.
If I can get a title or two on him in Mondioring, I’ll be extremely happy but will then probably take up IPO after that to see what we can do and maybe introduce him to some civil work with Michael.
As soon as he starts maturing a little more and can hang out in the house he’ll be super nice to have around.
He’s great with the other dogs, nice with people that come over, but also a shepherd and will bark if needed.
Hope all is well,
Ryan Maciej
