" Thank you so much Jim and Cindy for the wonderful puppy! He is everything that we wanted and so much more.
He amazes us everyday with his intelligence and trainability and we are so proud at how well he listens and responds at
only 14 weeks of age. He will go into a down-stay as I walk across the lawn and will not move until I return and
release him. He is wonderful!! Also his temperment is very nice, he is friendly yet still protective and cautious
and I can tell that when he is grown I will feel safe with him by my side. Actually I already do and he is just a pup.
He does have quite a presence about him though. He loves to go to his puppy class, the park, and although he doesn't
love the vet, he tolerates it well. He is very good around our daughter also and loves to play with her. We are so happy
that we found you. The wait to get our pup was definitely worth it. Thanks for being so great about communicating and answering
all our questions quickly."

Giving Thanks
Dear Jim and Cindy
As I reflect on all I am grateful for in my life, near the top of the list is True Haus Kennels and the opportunity to have spent over twenty years with two True Haus German Shepherd dogs.
It has been an honor and a privilege. Thank you so much for your dedication to the breed. Both of my boys have been exceptional, but today we'll talk about my second, Gus, product of Tom vom Haus Pixner and "Cat" Mi-Jos Cayenne, born February 2008.
Gus has been an incredible friend and companion. Intelligent doesn't begin to describe Gus. He has a huge vocabulary and understands so well we have to spell several words ... He has many friends and even more admirers, and I am always proud to say "He's a True Haus dog."
He wants to please, my job is to show him what I want. He completely trusts that he is loved and an integral part of our entire family. ...
He is loyal and loving, extremely gentle when called for, but he is also protective, fierce and fearsome when called upon. We have always felt safe with Gus.
His determination and drive have led us to call him Gus Strongheart. He maintains a curiosity and keen interest in new experiences. At nine years old, he made the move from California to Idaho like a real trooper.
He will mind a whispered command - he knows what is expected of him, and he has truly amazing "manners".
He will play at the drop of a hat or a raised eyebrow & gleam in my eye, and is still eager to learn new games. From puppyhood, he made up games and entertained himself, and he can still keep us in stitches with his antics and his sense of humor.
He is patient and kind. He has been everything a person could ask for in a friend, a canine companion and protector, and more.
Yes, when I count my blessings, True Haus Kennels will always have a place in that list. Thank you is inadequate. I wish you all blessings on your house and True Haus.
By next spring, I will hope to add one more True Haus German Shepherd to my life. I hope you will think of me when the right dog comes along.
Best regards,
Kathryn Weiss
