Dear Cindy and Jim,
We can't thank you enough for such a wonderful pup. Eddie is an absolute joy
and we look forward to continuing to send you updates with photos. There is
no question that he is of superb breeding. My compliments as you have done a
wonderful job with your breeding program.
Already, at 10 (almost 11 weeks) he demonstrates his herding instincts by
not allowing our 2 yr old daughter to run away from us in the back yard! He
cuts her off forcing her into a different direction until she heads back to
us. He also sits, lays down, and heels (most of the time) on command. When
our 7 and 2 yr old give him a treat for obeying a command (yes, he can
understand our 2 yr old) he knows not to touch their hand with his teeth,
and takes the food, gently.
We've been crate training him and he has beeen doing exceptionally well, and
his house training
because of it has been accelerated.
Thanks again and look forward to being in touch again soon!

UPDATE 7-1-2006
Hi Jim & Cindy,
Eddie's now 17 weeks (41 lbs) & is doing great! As you can see in the photo,
he doesn't wait for anyone before jumping in the pool. My children are building
such a bond with him that he always remains on either side of them when
other folks are around. He does not show aggression, just a calm protection.
His obedience classes are going well as he's jumped into the advanced class
after only 4 weeks, and the head trainer and I will be starting his bite work
very soon. The other area we are going to pursue is cadaver work as there
are very few certified cadaver dogs who are civilian owned. The trainer
who previously trained K9's for the State Police, loves Eddie's potential, but
also sees what all owners of GSD pups see...a fresh, yet playful, mischievous
dog.
More updates to follow....
Regards,
Rob & Paula

Hi Jim & Cindy,
Eddie is now 8 months old! They grow up fast. He is doing great & loves to go on hikes with us.
He enjoys running a little ahead of us but then he’ll stop, turn around, and wait for us to catch
up to him. It’s funny to note that when he is running ahead, he still looks back to make
sure he can see us. A couple of times we jumped off the trail to test him & he ran back like a missile to find
us. We’re having a lot of fun with him and his obedience work is going well. My wife and I have
accepted that he prefers my son and daughter over anyone else. Truthfully, it’s the way we want it.
We’ll write back to you soon.

Hi Cindy and Jim,
Eddie gets anxious and begins to bark at my son when he swings too high on the swing set.
He actually positions himself broadside, risking getting slammed on the "forward swing" in order
to slow my down my son.
Regards,
Rob

WHO ME..........I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING
Dear Jim and Cindy,
Otis is just now 5 ½ months old. He has been such a joy since he came at 8 weeks old. It is very
difficult to do him justice in a letter but I will try. Otis has been so much more than I ever expected.
He is solid physically and mentally and I could not ask for a better companion. He makes me laugh everyday!
Otis is very curious yet so brave and adaptable when it comes to new experiences. He loves both people and other
dogs and makes friends very easily. A day does not go by that 2-3 kids do not ring the door bell asking if
Otis can come out and play. He is very intuitive with children and is gentle with them. He is also very social
with other dogs and wants to meet all of them. I don’t think he has ever met a stranger!
House training Otis was easy and he adapted very quickly to his home. He has been very good about only chewing
toys with the exception of a shoe here and there J He has completed puppy obedience and is about to enter more
classes including agility and more advanced obedience. I can not thank you enough for breeding such wonderful German
Shepherds! I would recommend True Haus to everyone looking for a German Shepherd to be part of the family.
Thank you,
Christina

Dear Jim and Cindy,
We can not begin to tell you what joy Baran has brought to our home. At 4 ½ months he weighs in at 50 lbs
(and still has a way to go growing into his monster paws!) and is the biggest lovable ‘bear’ as we like to call
him. Loves the kids and would prefer to stay outside with them 24/7 along with our other German Shepherd
Bella vom True Haus (DOB 10/26/2002) which we purchased from your kennel. Actually the two are inseparable.
Baran is laid back in the house and with the kids yet knows his territory when strangers come to close to the yard.
Never backing away - always standing his ground. Curious with the toads, moths and fireflies actually trying
to catch them with our three year old cat! He adapts to any situation with ease. Obedience is a cinch. He knows
when ‘to go to work’ and tunes right in to me and my commands. And he is catching on very quick.
Super dog that obviously has the highest quality breeding that a German Shepherd could have. Your kennel is
100% into the breeding and it shows. My kids immediately recognized the difference and are quick to respond
to stranger’s questions by stating that our dogs our real ‘German’ German Shepherds. Thank you for your perseverance
in preserving the lineage of the true German Shepherd. We will keep you updated!

To whom it may concern
At 15 weeks Sasha has shown courage and drive, she never gives up.
These are very important in a working dog. I am very happy at this point with my dog.
Her hips came back good from OFA. She is healthy as an ox.
Thank you for such a nice dog.

Jim and Cindy,
I just wanted to thank both of you for everything that you have done for Vega and myself.
We have both enjoyed our training and have learned so much. I can't believe how smart she is.
She pushes me to become a better handler.
Vega has been a wonderful addition to our family. She is great with my daughter and always
happy and eager. I am thrilled to have a True Haus dog as my partner. Thank you for giving me
the opportunity to own such a wonderful girl!
Sincerely,
Tonia Hanson
