Cat is now living with a family for her retirement years 1-1-2015
Hi James and Cindy,
I just wanted to write to you to let you know how Cat is doing. She is doing great with us.
The first week or so, we kept her on a leash whenever she was with us around the house.
Now we just let her free roam the house. She is always right by our side.
We also got her a bed and put it in our bedroom with us, so now she sleeps with us.
She is such a great dog and I cannot thank you enough for letting us take care of her.
We took her to the vet on Monday just to get her a check up and he stated that Cat looks great.
It's funny and reassuring to see her around the house.
Sometimes if she hears one of the neighbors dogs bark she will perk up and walk around the house, checking every room.
Once she has determined it is good to go she'll come back to us and lay at out feet or ask for a pat on the head.
Her personalty is starting to come out now little by little.

Police Dog 2.............. What can I say but amazing! Well done and Congratulations to Cat.

8-31-2008 Cat earned her last two legs for her CD title with good scores of 187 1/2 and 185.
5-09-2009 I would like to say how proud we are of Cat.
Just a few short weeks after her last litter she has earned 3 new titles.
She earned her FO (family obedience) title with third place out of 25 dogs.
Then later that same day she earned her OB1 (obedience 1) second place and P1 (protection 1) title with FIRST PLACE.
This is a new sport
to us here, and we have not had much time to train for it.
It is through the SDA (Service Dogs of America) club. Now Working Dogs of America, you can read about it on this link click here .
5-10-2010
Cat as earned a Police Dog 1 title. She took first place out of 4 dogs with High in Trial Protection score of 91.
She was the only female dog in the class, and we are very proud of how hard she worked.
10-10-2010
Cat earned her GN (graduate novice) title with a very high score of 196 and first place. We could not be happer
with how eager she is to work and learn new things.
5-12-2012
Cat is the first Female dog to earn the Police Dog2 (PD2) title with SDA.
She not only earned the title but passed both parts of the protection phase with scores in the 90's.
Her field portion score was 92 and the practical portion that has the muzzle work and building search score was 91.
It was a hot day also in the 90's and she did not let that slow her down. The trial was just a few weeks after her weaning her litter of 7 puppies.
She is truly a working dog, and has always showed a great desire to accomplish what ever I ask of her.
Their are no words to express how proud of her we are.
11-1-2012
Cat has now add the Protection Dog 2 Sleeve (P2S) title to list of her accomplishments. She is always eager to learn something new and gives it all of her energy.

Police Dog 3, (PD3).............. Wow! Brook & Gina are the first GSD dogs ever to earn this title in SDA !!

Brook has very good body type built for performance with strong bones,
broad powerful head and muzzle with terrific expression.
Highly motivated to work,
retrieving instinct pronounced, will do anything for a ball.
Enthusiastic and enjoys
performing for the handler.
Superior bonding capability with the handler and naturally guidable,
follows the obedience commands without hesitation. In protection work she is highly determined,
barking is consistent and strikes quickly to the sleeve, hits hard with serious guarding in the out phase.
7-5-14
Brook and I traveled across country to the PetU SDA trial in Milwaukee.
She did an awesome job earning first place over 7 dogs in the Protection 1 (P1) title.
She passed her obedience with a great score of 96 and earned a honor title by passing her protection with a 92.5 on an honor decoy that she has never seen.
Once again she shows us she is just the kind of dog we love to have in our breeding program.
3-22-15
Brook earned her Police Dog 2 (PD2) with first place. She did her call off with such speed and accuracy both judges were very impressed.
She puts her all into everything I ask of her.
8-31-15 Brook earned her BN title, 3 legs in 3 shows. She finished with second place out of 8 dogs with a very nice score of 195!
9-21-15 Brook has now added her CD title, 3 legs in 3 shows. All legs with second place and one with a very nice score of 190 1/2.
4-29-16 Book worked very hard at her Police Dog 3 title. She did great on her obedience portion earning 93.5.
She was off to a great start on her protection portion finishing the field work only down 11.5 points.
She did not complete the building search, maybe next time. We are still very pleased with her hard work.
11-19-16 Brook and I were back on the field to try the Police Dog 3 title for a second time. Even though I felt very confident a few days before the trial, day of I was not so sure.
The sky was dark the rain pouring and everyone watching or on the field was dressed in rain gear with hoods. They all looked like bad guys!
For Brook this was not a problem. She knew her job and did it very well. She passed her PD3 with honors, she also earned the judge's choice trophy.
She is the first dog to pass this title with honors and one of the first two GSD to have earned it. She had an excellent score in her obedience portion of 91.1 and protection of 90.5.
She is always so easy to work and she just loves to please me.
5-6-17 Brook is now the very first dog to earn a Police Dog 3 (PD3) title at an SDA Championship trial.
She did her job very well and took first place on two honor decoys she has not seen ;-)
11-17&18-18 Terrey (one of our decoys) took Brook to the trial field to earn two new titles. Terrey is new to handling and did a remarkable job with Brook.
It is not easy to step on a trial field with a dog that you have only work a few time, a dog that dose not live with you, a dog that you do not feed.
Earning 90.5 in OB and 84.5 in protection for the PS1, then to do it again the next day with 94.8 in OB and 86 for protection and second place for there PS2.
To be able to make this all come together or a trial field really speak well of Terrey's handling skills and Brooks training. Great job.
1-20-19 Terrey and Brook are really starting to become a team. They went to the WDA trial in Lincoln in the poring rain and earned their PS3. Very nice 3 titles 3 months!

He was "HIGH IN TRIAL" for both obedience and protection out of 15 dogs. He earned his Family Obedience (FO) title with 97.5 and first place.
Then we went back and did his Protection 1 (P1H) title. He took first place with an obedience score of 92.3 and a protection score of 93.1 with honors.
He earned the (H) HONORS on his title because it was on a field he does not train on and on an honor decoy the he has never worked. He is a pleasure to train with.

One week after Back trialed in SDA we went to an AKC trial.
He earned his first two legs of his CD title, placing 3RD and then 2ND with a very nice 185.
5-29-15 Back has now finished his CD title. He earned two more legs even though he only needed 1 for his title.
These legs were even at an indoor trial. He is very confident and easy to trial with.
6-14-15 Back & I traveled to Pennsylvania for the SDA Championship. He added his Protection Dog 1 Sleeve with honors and his Police Dog 1 title.
Both titles with very high OB scores of 92 and 93 points.
7-4-15 Back has now added his Canine Good Citizen CGC to his growing list of titles.
12-5-15 Back was once again High in Trial Protection dog while earning his Protection Dog 2, also earning it with Honors P2(H).
4-2-16 Back earned his first leg for the Graduate Novice with first place and a great score of 193 1/2 points.
9-3-16 Back finished his Graduate Novice title with a first and a second place.
4-29-16 Back earned his Police Dog 2 (PD2) title with first place and High In Trial obedience, OB score of 94, protection score of 87.5.
He is always trying his best at what ever I ask him to do.
6-6-16 Back earned his CDX this weekend. Three legs, three first places, three very nice scores 188 1/2, 189 1/2 and 191.
10-23-16 Back earned his APr2 and was the highest scoring dog at the trial. We are very pleased with him.
3-25-17 Back has now earned his APr3 see picture on his picture page.
4-2-17 Back has now earned his P2S.
10-21-17 Back took High in Trial obedience with 97 points. Great job, he was working on his P3S title but would not out off the decoy ;-)
